Twin Falls Optimist Club Fishing Derby for Students with Special Needs

Commercial Creamery has again been privileged to participate in the Twin Falls Optimist Club Fishing Derby for Students with Special Needs. The Fishing Derby in Jerome is on the farm of our very own Marsha Martin! Marsha’s family has been putting on this derby for 49 years on their farm and has, for the past 20+ years, limited the participation to local special-needs children.
This year there were 200 participants, and they each got to catch fish in their pond with provided fishing poles. Volunteers then cleaned the fish for each child to take home.
Along with Commercial Creamery were other local business sponsors, including Stoltz Equipment, Jerome City Police Department, Idaho Ag Credit, Scarrow Meat, Jerome School District, Double A Dairy, Latinos in Action, Reverence, Sparklight Cable One, Western Waste, and Magleby Construction.
Commercial Creamery Has Received A Perfect Score

We are proud to announce that Commercial Creamery has received a perfect score during our 2023 SQF Level 2 Food Safety Audit re-certification with a score of 100! This is Commercial Creamery’s fifth SQF Audit. SQF Certification is accomplished when a company completes a rigorous food safety and quality program that affects every part of the food chain. Jamie Sweetser, Technical Director, expressed her gratitude to employees with the following statement:
“Your professionalism and dedication to Commercial Creamery were outstanding, and they showed in the results of the audit. This is a remarkable achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without every one of you.
